Editorial Policy and Publishing Standards for Every Guide

Trust is the most important feature on this site. These rules apply to every profile, guide, imported article, and horoscope.

Publishing principles

Evidence and attribution

We prefer primary sources, official documentation, direct interviews, and accountable reporting. A repeated claim is not automatically a verified claim. Readers can inspect this method in the source-checked people profiles and the culture research guides, where sources are linked near the claim or explained in a source record.

Authorship and accountability

Pages use the Pikabu Monster editorial desk byline until a real individual contributor is publicly appointed. The editorial desk description explains who is accountable for research, review, image licensing, corrections, and publication. We do not create fictional author identities or credentials.

People and privacy

We cover public work without cataloguing private lives. We do not speculate about legal identity, health, relationships, income, or intimate material. Sensitive claims require a strong public-interest reason and reliable sourcing.

Automation and AI

Automation can fetch drafts, remove duplicate headings, run quality checks, schedule approved posts, and collect horoscope research. A Docs Library article cannot be scheduled until a local approval record names its reviewer and review date. The publication job checks that approval again before release. Horoscope automation creates research drafts only. It may not fabricate expertise or publish scraped paraphrases at scale. Original generated illustrations are used as editorial artwork and are not presented as documentary photographs.

Originality test

A page must add a source map, a practical method, an original comparison, a clear verification decision, or another concrete benefit. Pages that only restate search results are not published. Imported magazine articles must also provide substantial coverage, at least two accountable external sources, four descriptive sections, and a useful comparison, list, or attributed quotation.

Commercial independence

Advertising, sponsorship, affiliate relationships, gifts, or paid placement must not decide the conclusion of an editorial page. Any future commercial relationship must be clearly disclosed where a reader can see it. Paid profile placement and undisclosed promotional articles are not accepted.

Titles, headings, and links

The title and H1 describe the same subject. Link text names the destination. Cards contain a dedicated title link and action link instead of wrapping unrelated descriptive text inside one large anchor.

Horoscopes

The zodiac sign guides are cultural and entertainment content. They cannot make medical, legal, financial, safety, or diagnostic claims. The weekly job extracts broad research themes into files that are not routed or indexed. Publication requires a separate original article and named human review.

Spam-policy safeguards

We prohibit cloaking, doorway pages, hidden text, scraped feeds, expired-domain manipulation, paid link schemes, misleading functionality, site-reputation rentals, and mass pages that differ only by a keyword. Search visibility is a result of usefulness, not the purpose of a page. We remove or exclude pages that cannot meet this standard instead of creating artificial uniqueness.
